In response to the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have launched a new division: Concentric by Ginkgo. We firmly believe that testing is an essential requirement to re-open the economy as quickly and safely as possible. Concentric is the largest provider of K-12 COVID-19 testing. We currently run state-level K-12 testing programs in more than 10 states and some of the nation’s largest school districts. To date, Concentric has sequenced more than 10,000 samples from a variety of sample types, in support of public health. As we continue to scale Concentric by Ginkgo, our work is also evolving and expanding into new and exciting directions. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Platform Development team for a specific set of emerging products. This team includes cross functional members from Delivery, Insights, Product, Innovation and members of the executive team
  • Identify market opportunities and work with Insights team to research market landscape and craft commercialization strategies for new products and programs
  • Pilot design and execution as a custom implementation of our public health monitoring service. This will require assessment of customer needs, planning of the on-site testing approach, and coordination of delivery partners – in conjunction with our Delivery team
  • Work alongside the operations lead to plan initial minimum viable products, build out program playbooks, and ultimately identify a path to scale
  • Work with the Commercial team to develop sales plans, facilitate development of collateral materials, and support sales efforts
  • Work with adjacent client teams to coordinate efforts, optimize requests for the broader team, and develop key client relationships
  • Give weekly updates to leadership and broader team on pilot results to date, plans for future pilots and pipeline
  • Work with the team to document and present learnings post pilot.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field 
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Preferred Capabilities and Experience

  • Work experience in Consulting, Operations, Client Service, or Business Development
  • A self-starter with demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment with regular shifts in priorities
  • Proven track record of project ownership and results orientation in a team setting
  • Strong analytical skills, with an ability to develop fact-based and informed opinions
  • Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and an ability to work across organizational boundaries
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficient financial acumen
