About the role

Plenty is looking for a Director of Integrated Marketing to join our Marketing team. Plenty has spent the last 8 years investing in a full stack proprietary technology system that allows us to deliver meaningfully better products. We are now bringing that technology to market at production scale in the form of the country’s largest vertical farm in Compton, CA.  Simultaneously, we are launching the Plenty brand at scale for the very first time. In this role, you will be a key member of the marketing team, working side-by-side with  Brand Strategy, Insights and Creative to launch the Plenty brand at scale for the very first time. You will report to the Head of Marketing.

What you'll do

  • Bring the brand strategy to life by translating strategic goals into actionable plans
  • Ensure key marketing messages are integrated into all marketing messages and channels
  • Support sellers with key selling resources and strategies
  • Work closely with the Communications team to ensure consistent delivery of messages
  • Work cross-functionally throughout the organization to ensure that Marketing’s efforts are aligned with the company mission, values and business objectives and supported by all groups

What you'll bring to the table

  • 10+ years of marketing, brand growth or technology experience
  • Clear and logical strategic thinking from insight to hypothesis to experiment to conclusion
  • Experience working in (and a love for) dynamic business environments where priorities are constantly changing as new information is learned, teams are small and scrappy and budgets are tight
  • Experience launching brands and products that ask customers and consumers to think differently about their daily habits
  • Experience working in an ecosystem with both B2B and B2C sales channels
  • Other domain experience such as Consumer Packaged Goods, food or agriculture a benefit but not required
  • Experience with and understanding of the marketing toolkit – and a willingness to discard the parts that don’t serve our mission or business
  • Experience with and willingness to run quantitative and qualitative tests
  • Strong foundation in data and statistics
  • Experience representing marketing ideas and teams to senior teams both internally and externally
  • Passion for the impact that the food and agriculture system can have on the planet and people and animals that live on it and a belief in the solutions that Plenty is pursuing
