We are looking for an exceptional Director of People Operations to join our growing People team and report to our VP, Head of Global People Operations, interim reporting to interim Head of People while VP is on leave. What you’ll do

  • Manage all global people processes, workflows, systems, and third-party vendor relationships in partnership with our VP, Head of Global People Operations. Continue to build automation of our processes and scale for growth both domestically and internationally;
  • Lead and partner with other People team members to strengthen our global programs including our leave programs, employee experience (onboarding and offboarding), engagement, and performance management. Train team members on systems, policies and processes.
  • Oversee our benefits program including being a strategic advisor for annual renewal, lead open enrollment, manage leave of absences, and roll out other perks and benefits programs.
  • Own all aspects of people compliance including Federal, State and local labor laws and regulations, as well as leading and ensuring best practices within our JUST policies and programs;
  • Analyze data across a variety of sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas of opportunity.
  • Maintain our HRIS system and keep other HR tools and systems up to date, ensuring a high level of data integrity.
  • Project manage global systems including optimizing for improvement which may include RFP and implementation of HR systems;
  • Manage immigration cases and assist with green card process liaising with key stakeholders (immigration counsel, People team (Talent Partners), employees, and hiring managers).
  • Provide coaching and support to the People Operations managers/specialist; oversee the day-to-day work of the People Operations team.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal, broader People team and other stakeholders to drive efficiencies and simplify workflows.

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years of Human Resources/Operations role.
  • 5+ years experience as a people operations manager or above at a high-growth organization and leading a team.
  • Significant project/program management experience related to the implementation of new platforms.
  • Experience in various HRIS and ATS systems, along with other HR tools.
  • Managing complex, global HR projects, and operationalizing HR policies and strategy.
  • Robust experience supporting a multi-country employee base.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with senior management in an efficient manner.
  • Outstanding people leader with the ability to attract and retain high talent.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced continuing changing environment.

This is a full-time position based out of our beautiful new headquarters in Alameda, CA.
