We are seeking a Director, Product Management, Market+ located within the US or Brazil to lead a small, specialized team of Software Engineers across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile/Lean environment for the product development and subsequent release of Market+ for  the Brazilian marketplace. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of Technical Product Management experience and will come with a proven track record of leading teams across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), with a focus on localization. This position requires fluency in both written and spoken English, as well as Portuguese.  

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our Brazil  team to assess new markets, often via partnerships and integrations. Lead technical discussions with international go-to-market partners
  • Understand market competition and product positioning within the agriculture ecosystem to achieve product market fit for Market+ in Brazil
  • Collaborate to identify and break down complex business and user problems, articulate hypotheses, and develop roadmaps and prioritize implementation plans accordingly
  • Lead data driven decisions to prioritize the roadmap and achieve business goals. 
  • Ensure the voice of the customer is a key component in prioritizing your work
  • Define the Key Performance Indicators and product metrics that guide alignment and accountability across a cross functional team.
  • Expand  our platform by defining the product requirements unique to Brazil  that meet the requirement of our Market+ customers and partners 
  • Deeply understand our current product, programs & platform and collaborate with the design team to build new and updated user journeys based on our expansion roadmap
  • Lead agile software product management and development best practices; champion those best practices across the organization
  • Establish clear and concise communications channels with stakeholders within the organization (i.e., Product , Commercial , Operations, Science, Data Science, Design, and Engineering) to provide context about the “why” and visibility into product decisions and process for decision making

  • Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical Product Management experience including leading high-performance engineering teams across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) in an Agile/Lean development environment
  • Must have fluency in both written and spoken English, as well as Portuguese.  
  • Proven track record of building successful products that solve complex problems and a passion for real-world impact.
  • Understanding of how to build and develop a customer ecosystem around the platform for the wide set of use cases
  • Experience with technical partnerships, integrations, and APIs
  • Can see the future and break it down into clear, achievable steps
  • Able to quickly earn the respect of everyone at Indigo (from associates to executives) and be seen as a leader
  • Highly collaborative and empathetic to your colleagues and customers
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments

  • Experience in Agriculture, Financial Trading, Fx, or hedging will be preferred. 
  • Experience in localization in Latin America – specifically within a Portuguese-speaking market is a plus
  • Ability to provide pre-sale technical support to sales team, eg. external demos of product, discussing roadmap, a plus.
