As Iron Ox increases the autonomy of both our mobile and stationary robotic systems, ensuring a safe environment for those working around these machines is a top priority. The Robot Safety team is made up of Robot Safety Operators (RSOs), and these individuals are in charge of validating our safety systems in a production greenhouse environment, monitoring robot performance, and assisting in the Root Cause Corrective Action process.
As a Lead Robot Safety Operator, you will manage the day to day operations of our RSO team, ensuring we maintain a stellar safety record and ensure the team is reporting anomalous behavior. You will be responsible for empowering and mentoring your RSOs as they onboard and grow in their role, as well as being the go to person to ensure cross functional projects with operations, engineering, plant science and data science are properly supported.
