The Membership Manager is responsible for managing daily tasks associated with running a network of institutional investors.  This position is also responsible for developing both short and long-term strategic plans that will grow and develop the organization as the alternative protein industry continues to evolve.

Job Description

  • Attract new members and manage the entire onboarding process
  • Create and develop deep and meaningful relationships with key players including founders, investors, and partners.
  • Identify high-quality and deeply experienced technical experts and execute quarterly technical diligence trainings for members
  • Create a Deal Flow Pipeline, including creating a DDQ template and disseminating it to companies raising capital to complete, and curate deals that will be highlighted to members
  • Create value-add summaries of companies and deals
  • Scope, plan, and execute both virtual and in-person events such as roundtables.
  • Work with the early-stage operations coordinator to identify synergies and opportunities for collaboration
  • Manage a budget with monthly updates to leadership
  • Deliver desired outcomes on time and within budget
  • Develop any relevant marketing, communications, and/or advertising materials

Education/Experience

  • BA/BS degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Venture Capital/Private Equity experience preferred
  • Avid self-learner with a high level of curiosity, strong discipline and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Strong project management and execution skills and ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Uphold strict confidentiality policy
  • Vegetarian/Vegan/Veg Curious preferred
  • Remote Position w/ Flexible Schedule (Full-time)

  • Excellent Project Manager – Optimizes work processes & plans ahead – Separates and completes tasks into an efficient workflow. Focuses on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision – Exercise independent judgment in administrative details, requiring considerable knowledge, use and interpretation of venture capital and investor network concepts
  • Establish, maintain and foster positive and effective working relationships with Members
  • Communicate Effectively – Use verbal and written skills effectively to ensure that information is successfully shared throughout the organization. Relates well to a range of people. Demonstrates ability to build rapport and facilitates mutual understanding.

Salary: $50,000/Year

Bonus Potential: $10,000/Year
