About Role

The People & Culture Generalist, will have a direct impact on shaping our people strategy and people experience from onboarding to departure. In this role, you function as a key member of the People & Culture team standing up data visualization tools to drive workforce planning and respond to organizational concerns. You have a high attention to detail and are comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, learning as you go. This will be a hybrid role based out of our Laramie, WY location.  

What you'll do

  • Provide generalist support across multiple areas including, performance management, leadership development, talent management and employee relations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries; quickly answering questions in a professional manner in accordance with Company policy, escalate and direct where appropriate 
  • Maintain knowledge, trends, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, best practices, and serve as advocate for team members, providing them with appropriate information as needed
  • Create, implement and document new processes and procedures for the organization, including owning Company repository for SOPs; working closely with internal communications
  • Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, and other sources
  • Develop and manage standard and ad-hoc People reports, analyses, insights, dashboards, visualizations, and templates to support the People-related metrics
  • Support local onboarding, orientation, and off-boarding, while fostering positive experiences
  • Travel – less than 10%
  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to the table

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years relevant work experience
  • Excellent organization skills and a detail oriented mindset. You enjoy to-do lists and you're always double checking
  • A natural curiosity for solutions and process improvements
  • Excellent problem solving abilities – You may be putting out fires both in person and virtually
  • Great verbal and written communication skills  –  you're basically a modern Shakespeare
  • Passion for Plenty and the openness to do any job to help achieve our mission
  • Excitement to work in a fast paced startup environment
