As a Talent Partner you’ll play a critical role in the building a world-class team as we scale operations both domestically and internationally. We are a growing, dynamic, and collaborative organization and this role requires an individual who can plug-into the business, know our people, and partner with multi-disciplinary teams to effectively attract, recruit and retain candidates that not only meet technical needs for roles, but align with our culture. You will partner with the larger talent team to build and continuously improve internal programs, infrastructure and processes to streamline and scale recruiting with a high-touch white glove candidate experience. You must be a motivated self-starter, hyper organized, and possess that intuitive gut critical to hiring and supporting people in  an innovative, fast-paced, growing organization.

What you’ll do 

  • Learn about our mission, business model, and culture to understand the needs of our organization; promote out our image and “what Eat Just is all about” to candidates and external service providers;

  • Generate robust passive pipelines as we proactively and strategically recruit and generate traction for our growing teams domestically & internationally;

  • Manage full cycle recruiting process for our multi-disciplinary team for both GOOD Meat and JUST Egg both domestically and internationally;

  • Partner with hiring managers and teams to understand needs specific to their function and people;

  • Guide hiring manager on appropriate level and type of experience needed for position, including pivoting and adjusting as changes often happen mid-process;

  • Review, revise/or craft job descriptions that are engaging and accurately capture targeted candidate profile;

  • Identify and make recommendations for most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates; passively source candidates as needed;

  • Draft recruitment advertisements, posts/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for respective positions;

  • Partner with hiring managers to align on appropriate interview workflow for positions; drive accountability for hiring manager and interview panel responsibilities;

  • Train team members on effective and “best practice” interviewing;

  • Partner with hiring manager to screen and review resumes; conduct initial phone screens to assess qualifications and educate candidates on our business and organization as they engage in interview process;

  • Drive white glove candidate experience with timely and thoughtful candidate communication and follow up;

  • Collaborate with Talent Team to enhance candidate experience and internal recruiting process;

  • Partner with larger People Team to automate and enhance talent related systems and functionality – ATS, external job boards, and career sites;

  • Provide backup support to talent team members to ensure timely support for larger talent team;

  • Support additional Talent Team projects and initiatives as needed.

What you’ll bring 

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience;

  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in bio-pharma, CPG, food & beverage or relevant industry with a track record of closing high-quality candidates;

  • Experience in a scaling start-up environment;

  • Experience or familiarity with recruiting in initial international growth – Asia and Europe, a plus!

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and interpersonal skills to attract a diverse range of candidates and partner with our cross-functional stakeholders;

  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations;

  • You’re a creative thinker and the ability to go above and beyond to make every candidate experience is exceptional;

  • Passionate about our mission, products and culture;

  • A recruiting systems guru – thorough knowledge and hands-on experience with external and internal recruiting tools including LinkedIn recruiter, Indeed and applicant tracking software(s);

  • Scheduling aficionado with whatever system you use – Microsoft 360 including Outlook and Microsoft Teams highly preferred.

Additional Information and Requirements

This is a full-time regular position based out of our headquarters in San Francisco; work will be remote until business returns to office. At that time, the position will be expected to be onsite.
