Job Description
 
 
Ginkgo’s Stock Team is looking for a remote Stock Administrator Consultant to join our growing and dynamic team. Reporting to the Director, Stock Administration, the ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Stock Administration and will support the day-to-day administration of the company’s stock-based compensation plans. This person will work in a collaborative environment with both internal and external partners. This position is a 6+ month remote consulting role.
 

Responsibilities

  • Process new grants, stock option exercises, RSU distributions and Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
  • Answer equity-related questions from employees.
  • Gather and prepare SOX related requests.
  • Define, build, and optimize process and workflows related to administering equity awards to a global population.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting of equity transactions worldwide.
  • Support ad-hoc as well as period-end reporting to respective teams, including non-US locations.
  • Ensure global tax, regulatory, legal and SOX compliance requirements are met timely and accurately.
  • Actively participate with Equity team in strategic projects, process improvements, automation initiatives and M&A activity.
  • Assist with the preparation of grant documentation, including formatting and submission to third-party administrator as needed.
  • Assist with management of the company’s insider trading and legal policies.
  • Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources or any other related field of study.
  • 3+ years of equity-related professional experience in a public company.
  • Comprehensive experience with end-to-end stock administration including stock options, RSUs, and ESPP.
  • Strong excel skills to review data to confirm accuracy and identify issues.
  • Ability to execute under pressure and within timelines.
  • Customer service-oriented style with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and internal/external partners.

    Preferred Capabilities and Experience
  • Experience with Fidelity, Workday, Computershare, Slack and Confluence.
  • Located in the U.S. Mountain or Eastern Time zones to best overlap with our distributed team.
  • Familiar with a dual class equity system
  • Comfortable working on a remote team.
