businesses to sell imperfect and surplus produce, while digitizing one of the largest and most important
industries that is still stuck in the dark ages.

More than ¼ of all edible produce globally goes to waste annually on-farms. We are solving this problem
with our marketplace to help farmers easily sell their excess and have more transparency into the market.
Our vision is three-fold: lower the cost of healthy food production, bring additional revenue streams to
farmers, while significantly reducing wasted food and resources. A win-win-win for farmers, food
companies and the planet.

The Role:

We're looking for a Supplier Account Manager to increase marketplace engagement, manage
relationships and fulfill orders. The ideal candidate will have experience buying or selling produce, a solid
knowledge of agriculture and the desire to change the way produce is sold. The position will report to the
Head of Supply & Operations and will play a large role in the growth of our Marketplace. You will join a
friendly, driven and passionate team, determined to solve food waste by leveraging technology.

We are looking for candidates in the Bay Area (who are required to be in the office 2-3 days per week) or
remote candidates who are willing to be in the SF office at least 4-6 days per month.

What you’ll be:

● An in-house expert on your specific assigned commodities. Includes developing and fostering
   relationships with suppliers and produce organizations to ensure Full Harvest always has robust
   supply, deep supplier relationships and the most up-to-date information on your commodities.
● Acquiring new suppliers for your specific commodities, growing our supplier database and giving
   marketplace demos
● Manage supplier accounts to ensure orders are filled on-time and in-full
● Increase supplier opportunities for incremental revenue by growing their marketplace
● Negotiate pricing and specifications for spot and contract opportunities for your commodities
● Send POs to suppliers, manage rejections and reconcile order discrepancies
● Provide market updates (verbally and in writing) to the sales and supply team for your product
● Execute email and phone marketing campaigns to increase the number of suppliers registered on
   the marketplace
● Review, edit and approve suppliers’ posts on the marketplace
● Share real-time feedback with the tech & product team on improvement opportunities to the

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agronomy, Horticulture, Crop Science, Ag Business, or
   relevant discipline with broad interest in the agriculture industry
● Minimum of 3+ years of account management experience at a produce grower/shipper/packer,
   distributor or broker
● Strong sales and relationship-building capabilities
● Excellent negotiation skills and strategic acumen
● Strong project management skills
● Very organized with strong follow-through
● Able to learn and use Salesforce, Slack and Asana
● Able to travel to meet with suppliers
● Previous experience in a start-up or fast-growth environment a major plus
● Tech savvy – comfortable working with and learning new applications
