Local Bounti is currently looking for a self-motivated, and results-driven Sustainability Intern to contribute in a team-based environment in evaluating, developing, and implementing ESG programs initiatives. This person will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information in support of the sustainability program. This position will be at our farm in Warner Robins, GA

The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, strong information and data collection skills, and strong organization skills.

Reports to Sustainability Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources to build and maintain ESG reporting and analysis documents.
  • Data collection and analysis: Responsible for the collection and analysis of operational and sustainability data. Maintain data sets supporting the range of ESG programs and information for external sustainability reporting requirements. 
  • On site production: Supporting daily production activities, including but not limited to:
    • Seeding, Transplanting, Harvesting, Packaging.
  • Internship requirements: 15% of the internship time will be dedicated to fulfilling the internship program requirements based on the college program.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills, focus on Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Experience with statistics and business analytics.
  • College student, preference for Agriculture, Engineering, or Business.

Schedule

Internship hours are part time and flexible based upon school schedule. Candidate will need to have availability in 4hr segments at least two days a week M-F during the hours of 07:00 – 18:00 in applicable time zone.

Optional travel opportunities based on the intern’s preference and schedule.  This position will pay between $15 – $17 per hour based on qualifications and location.
