We are looking for a Warehouse/Logistics Manager to join our Ogden, Utah facility. This role will be responsible to manage, coordinate and oversee all operations of the warehouse including freight, shipping, receiving etc. This is a dynamic position with constantly changing variables and priorities that will require the ability to be flexible and quickly adaptable.
Here are the things we want to hire you to do:
Oversee the warehouse with all day-to-day tasks and goals
Responsible for maintaining inventory accountability and investigating any variances
Coordinate receiving and shipping activities, along with issuing, cycle counting and waste flow
Supports annual financial budget activities, while monitoring monthly expenditures and understands key warehouse needs
Supports strategy planning for the warehouse, implements continuous improvement ideas within all shifts
Responsible for the objectives of training, performance review and goal setting, scheduling, and monitoring progress of work and assignments/projects
Ensures efficient shift changes by effectively communicating with other Supervisors and Associates
Here are the things we think you need:
High school, GED, or equivalent diploma required
Must be 18 years or older with the ability to read, write and speak English specific to work instructions including but not limited to safety purposes
Minimum of 5-7 years of supervisory experience
Experience managing a transportation team
Understanding of DOT regulations
Food/Beverage industry highly preferred
Proficiency in ERP systems
Familiarity with all methods of transportation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze issues and summarize outcomes to provide recommendations on a compliant path forward; the ideal applicant will be required to demonstrate high attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organization ability
Good organization, time, and project management skills
